Development concerns for my baby – how do I know my child is not autistic

Although we are not medical experts there are some signs and symptoms that may indicate a child has autism, and it’s important to recognize them and seek a professional evaluation if you have concerns. Here are some signs that may indicate autism in young children:

3. Repetitive behaviours or routines: Children with autism may engage in repetitive behaviours, such as rocking or hand-flapping, and may be resistant to changes in routine or environment.
4. Sensory sensitivities: Children with autism may have heightened sensitivities to sensory stimuli, such as loud noises or bright lights.
